Kiln service

Our kiln service is available to both home ceramists and potters at the open studio. We fire bisque firings at 950 degrees C and glaze firings at 1240 degrees C. Other firings can be requested as needed.

In case you use your own materials, please note that it is the responsibility of the buyer of the kiln service to ensure that the clay and glazes used are suitable for the above-mentioned firing temperatures. For glaze firings, we recommend using cookies under the pieces. The purchaser of the kiln service undertakes to compensate for any possible damage to the kiln plates or equipment. We charge 40 € for a damaged kiln plate.

Prices:

The price of the kiln service is determined by the volume your pieces. The size of our kiln shelf is 40 x 40 cm and the max height is 14 cm.

½ a shelf 18 €/ firing

1 shelf 23 €/ firing

1/2 oven (2 shelves) 43 €/firing

Full oven (110 l) 80 €/firing

The kiln service can be purchased at our studio. At the same time, we will estimate the size of your work(s) and determine the price.
